Event Marketing Phases

Phase 1

(2-3 months out)

*Identify & reach out to local media partners (TV, Print, Radio & Digital), social media influencers, large employers in market, CD & Record stores, malls, music programs, schools, tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, community groups & venue marketing team
 

*Create local e-mail database to send e-blasts & press information to key media players, venue partners & business leaders in the market


*Obtain localized admat, video & PR assets including artist bios, press images, sizzle reel (vertical

Phase 2

(6-8 weeks out)

*Create weekly content calendar identifying upcoming media hits, digital ads, interviews, social media mentions, promotional support & results from organic posts, shares of event listings & e-mail blasts


*Confirm cross-promotional programs running during maintenance, follow up with local partners, set up affiliate ticket programs, discount offers, print trade, activate street team & local influencers

 

*Research any local high traffic events happening in market in advance of the event for potenti

Phase 3

(3-5 weeks out)

*Report results of Phases 1 & 2, review open ticket sales inventory, results of discount / affiliate sales programs (i.e. Groupon, TM, etc…), promotional calendar updates & areas of focus for closing campaigns
 

*Target local Facebook groups, popular social media accounts, large employers & community organizations with special ticket offers, organic video ads, press information & links to purchase.

Phase 4

(1-2 weeks out)

*Report results of Phase 3, review updated content calendar, ticket sales updates and week of show media & promotional opportunities
 

*Reach out to local partners for closing media support, names of contest winners and final schedule of remaining interviews, ads, posts, social media mentions and VIP Meet & Greet opportunities.

Phase 5

Week of Show

*Submit final content calendar, closing promotional support, day of show photo pass requests & available open ticket inventory update
 

*Send last chance e-mail blasts, post urgent low ticket warning ads, share successful local partnerships from Phases 1-4 on social media & upload final localized video with updated callout and ticket links


*Review plans for day of show & day before show e-blasts, ads & posts with local media, venue marketing & promotional partners.
